Let's add to the discussion of #dataownership a term #processownership. The following is an hreview, meaning a machine readable rating of an event that I attend regularly. One of the driving ideas behind microformats such as this is to decentralize and reclaim data on the web by enabling simple html publishing tools such as this blog to produce structured data that can be used elsewhere. In this case, I want to promote the meetup I go to, and I can hope that Google (or your favorite alternative -- here's mine) recognizes the embedded microformat and considers it an endorsement that could influence page rank.
